Donate Your Eggs - Learn How the Egg Donation Process Works

Donating your eggs is a compassionate gesture that offers hope for individuals who are struggling to conceive. While many women desire to help those suffering from infertility, financial compensation often factors into the decision-making process as well.

Why Choose Pacific Surrogacy & Egg Donation?

The decision to become an egg donor is a highly personal decision. This generous act can give hope to women and couples who have had difficulty conceiving a child on their own.

PSED is here to provide you guidance from the start to the end of your donation, to assure it is seamless and stress free. Our egg donor program is streamlined to save you time, energy, and avoid any concerns you might have. From the initial consultation to the end of the donation cycle, we will be your guide and someone you can rely on.

Understanding the Egg Donation Process

Joining our egg donor program is straightforward. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Health and Age: You should be healthy and between the ages of 20-29.
  • Application Process: Just submit your detailed personal information, photographs, and a family medical history to build your donor profile.
  • Free Medical Screenings: Once selected by a recipient, all your screening costs are covered, including medical appointments and legal fees.

Medical Screening and Legal Preparation

We carefully check all donors to make sure they are healthy and understand the psychological aspects of egg donation. During this psychological and physical exam, we confirm your good health and understanding before you can donate eggs.

This screening process is thorough and ensures the well-being of both the donor and the recipient. During it you'll be screened for genetic disorders/conditions, infectious diseases, and relevant aspects of your family history.

The entire cycle takes approximately four weeks, and your compensation is not dependent on whether the recipients conceive or not.

Subsequently, legal contracts are drawn up to protect the rights and responsibilities of both parties.

Egg Retrieval Procedure

The retrieval of eggs is a quick, minimally invasive procedure. Performed under ultrasound guidance, it involves a needle inserted through the vagina to aspirate the eggs. The process usually lasts about 30 minutes, and we recommend resting for a few hours afterwards.
